Australia: To celebrate the release of H Is for Hawk in cinemas on May 28, we’re giving double passes to see the moving new drama on the big screen.

Based on Helen Macdonald’s internationally bestselling memoir, H Is for Hawk stars Claire Foy as Helen, a woman struggling through the overwhelming grief of losing her beloved father. As memories of their time birding and exploring nature together take hold, Helen becomes fixated on training a wild goshawk named Mabel.

What begins as an attempt to master one of nature’s fiercest creatures gradually becomes something much deeper, as Helen is forced to confront the emotions she has buried and the life she has withdrawn from. Brendan Gleeson also stars in the visually striking adaptation, which explores grief, love, nature, and the unexpected ways people can begin to heal.
