Full Trailer Arrives for ‘Hoops,’ Netflix’s New Adult Animated Comedy with Balls

Check out the official trailer that’s dropped for Hoops, a new adult animated series heading to Netflix this month.

Jake Johnson voices Ben Hopkins, a hot-headed, foul-mouthed high school basketball coach who’s on a badly-executed mission of turning his godawful team into champions – which he hopes will shoot him to the “big leagues.”

Vulgar animated shows are all the rage these days – and Hoops is clearly trying its best to fit alongside the likes of F is for Family and Bojack Horseman as another Netflix ‘toon hit for adults. Here’s hoping there’s a little more than in-your-face antics on display (or maybe that’s enough?) to get it there.

Hoops, created by The Late Late Show with James Corden writer Ben Hoffman and also featuring voice work from Rob Riggle, Natasha Leggero, Ron Funches, Cleo King, and A.D. Miles, among others, will be streaming on Netflix from August 21st.
