Check out the trailer for Hotel Artemis, an upcoming action-thriller boasting a cast that includes Oscar winner Jodie Foster and Jeff Goldblum.
The film is set in a riot-torn, near-future Los Angeles and follows the goings-on at the Hotel Artemis, a secret members-only emergency hospital for criminals. When a pair of criminals turn up with a highly coveted portable vault, Goldblum and his cronies soon arrive to take it for themselves.
It’s something like John Wick meets Dredd, and it looks like a good bit of entertainment. There’s a fun vibe going on with the familiar elements, plus there’s no denying the appeal of a line-up that also includes Sterling K. Brown, Sofia Boutella, Dave Bautista, Charlie Day and Zachary Quinto. Of course, it could go either way.
This marks the feature directorial debut for Drew Pearce, who co-wrote Iron Man 3 and directed the Marvel One-Shot film All Hail the King. Pearce also wrote the screenplay.
Hotel Artemis will be opening in the US on June 8.
