The official trailer has arrived for Hotel Costiera, Prime Video’s upcoming action-drama series led by Jesse Williams (Grey’s Anatomy). The series plants a Marine-turned-fixer on Italy’s Amalfi Coast, where luxury and danger share the same address. Watch the trailer above and read on for the details.
Williams plays Daniel De Luca, a half-Italian former U.S. Marine who’s returned to his childhood home of Positano. He takes on a job as a fixer for one of the world’s most exclusive hotels, handling the various problems facing the wealthy guests. “You solve other people’s problems, just not your own,” he’s told in the trailer. He responds: “I’ll get to mine eventually.”

Perhaps his most important task: tracking down Alice, one of the hotel owner’s daughters who disappeared a month earlier. As the show’s synopsis reads: “Daniel must do everything he can to bring her home, but facing those who kidnapped the girl will be more challenging than any problem he has ever faced.”
Daniel reunites his team to help locate the girl. “How much you paying us?” team member Genny (Jordan Alexandra, The Winter King) asks. “Thrills don’t pay the bills, boys.”
The cast brings together familiar faces and international names, with Maria Chiara Giannetta, Antonio Gerardi, Sam Haygarth, Tommaso Ragno, Amanda Campana, Pierpaolo Spollon, Alejandra Onieva, and Jean-Hugues Anglade joining Williams.
The six-episode series was written by Elena Bucaccio (Devils), Matthew Parkhill (Nautilus), and Francesco Arlanch (Medici), working from an idea by Luca Bernabei. Three episodes were directed by Emmy-winner Adam Bernstein (Fargo, Silo) and three by Giacomo Martelli (DOC – Nelle tue mania). The series is co-produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Lux Vide, a Fremantle company.
All six episodes of Hotel Costiera will be streaming on Prime Video globally from September 24.
