The first trailer has been released for No Good Deed, an upcoming thriller that sees Idris Elba play a ruthless home invader. He plays an escaped convict who enters the home of a wife (Taraji P. Henson) and her young children. These type of flicks are a dime a dozen, but they don’t usually feature the great Idris Elba as the bad guy. We’re looking forward to seeing him shed that charming guy image here, and Taraji P. Henson is usually good value too. Fingers crossed the film turns out to be as suspenseful as it promises.
No Good Deed also stars Leslie Bibb, Kate del Castillo, and Henry Simmons. Directed by Sam Miller, who directed 8 episodes of Idris Elba’s fantastic cop series Luther.
