‘I’m Not Okay with This’ Trailer: Teen Angst & Superpowers in Netflix Series

Yes, there’s many – perhaps too many – superpowered people on television these days, but sign us straight up to this one!

Take a look at the trailer Netflix has dropped for upcoming series I’m Not Okay with This, based on the graphic novel of the same name by Charles Forsman (End of the F***ing World). Put it this way, if you loved The End of the F***ing World, you should be in very good hands here. Apart from being another adapation of Forsman’s works, this new series is also directed/executive produced by EOTFW helmer Jonathan Entwistle. One look at the trailer below and you’ll see the comparisons.

It star Sophia Lillis plays Sydney, a teen having a hard time navigating high school, family, sexuality, and for added dramas, superpowers. Fellow It star Wyatt Oleff and Sofia Bryant play two of her close friends.

It looks great. All eight 30-minute episodes (yes – so bingeable) of I’m Not Okay with This will be hitting Netflix on February 26.

Official synopsis for I’m Not Okay with This:

I Am Not Okay With This is an irreverent origin story that follows a teenage girl who’s navigating the trials and tribulations of high school, all while dealing with the complexities of her family, her budding sexuality, and mysterious superpowers just beginning to awaken deep within her. From director/EP of The End of the F***ing World Jonathan Entwistle and the producers of Stranger Things comes a new series based on the Charles Forsman graphic novel.
