‘Impractical Jokers: The Movie’ Trailer Takes the Prankers to the Big Screen

The Tenderloins are heading to the big screen.

Yep, truTV hidden camera show Impractical Jokers is getting a movie! Creatively titled Impractical Jokers: The Movie, the plot finds Sal, Joe, Q and Murr receiving tickets to see Paula Abdul in concert. The problem: there’s four of them and only three tickets. Naturally, they must compete with elaborate pranks to see who’ll be going.

As with the movies like Bad Grandpa, there’s a narrative strand connecting the stunts and a bigger budget for the team to work with; fans should be having a field day with the craziness hinted at here. Among the pranks: a guy that’s been trapped in a cave for decades, a broken-down car with certain things in the trunk, and a huge Jaden Smith fan.

Impractical Jokers: The Movie will be in US cinemas on February 21, 2020.

Synopsis for the Impractical Jokers series:

Meet Sal, Joe, Q, and Murr, four longtime friends who star in the hit truTV hidden camera show Impractical Jokers. In each episode, they compete to embarrass each other in a series of hilariously humiliating challenges and outrageous dares, all to the amusement and consternation of the general public. At the end of every episode, the biggest loser must endure a punishment of epic proportions. They have to say it. They have to do it. You have to see it!
