An international trailer has been released for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, offering up some never-before-seen tidbits in the process.
It’s arguably a better trailer than the recent official trailer released, at least in this writer’s opinion. It’s a more taut, energetic look at the film, giving us a bit more about why Felicity Jones’ Jyn Erso is being chosen for this mission (“The message was sent by your father.”), a bit more of the black-clad Death troopers, and a better delivery of Erso’s “May the Force be with us” line.
In case you haven’t been following all the Rogue One news very closely, you may be surprised to learn that a certain actor let slip that he was playing Erso’s father. More on that HERE.
Check out the trailer below.
Rogue One: A Star Wars story, also starring Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker, will be arriving in Australia on December 15 and will hit the U.S. on December 16.
