
Warner Bros. has unveiled an image of the cast of highly-anticipated horror sequel It: Chapter 2, which is currently in production.
Director Andy Muschietti returns at the helm of the follow-up, which has screenwriter Gary Dauberman working solo after being credited as co-writer of the first.
Jessica Chastain and James McAvoy are among the cast members playing the members of the Losers’ Club as adults. Check out the image below:

And now, a rundown of who’s playing who…
Jessica Chastain will be playing Beverly Marsh, who was played by Sophia Lillis in the first film:
James McAvoy plays Bill Denbrough, played by Jaeden Lieberher in the first film:
Bill Hader stars as Richie Tozier, played by Stranger Things actor Finn Wolfhard in the first film:
James Ransone (Bosch, Sinister) plays Eddie Kaspbrak, who was played by Jack Dylan Grazer in the first film:
Andy Bean (Power, Here and Now) stars as Stanley Uris, played by Wyatt Oleff in the first film:
New Zealand-born actor Jay Ryan (Neighbours, Beauty and the Beast) has been cast as Ben Hanscom, played by Jeremy Ray Taylor in the first film:
And former ‘Old Spice’ guy Isaiah Mustafa (Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments) will play Mike Hanlon, who was played by Chosen Jacobs in the first:
The extended cast also includes Bill Skarsgård, who’s back as Pennywise; Will Beinbrink as Tom Rogan; Jess Weixler as Audra Phillips; Xavier Dolan as Adrian Mellon; and Teach Grant as Henry Bowers. And yes, the young cast from Chapter One will be returning in flashback scenes.
It was a massive hit, topping $US700 million worldwide from a budget of $US35 million. Expect the sequel to take similar or even better numbers.
It: Chapter Two is scheduled for Australian release on September 5, 2019 and US release on September 6, 2019.
