‘James Bond 25’ Behind the Scenes Video Has Daniel Craig in Jamaica

Filming is currently underway on the 25th James Bond film, which has Daniel Craig back in the lead role for the fifth time.

Part of the production is taking place in Jamaica, and MGM has unveiled a behind-the-scenes promo video to get that hype building. Not that they need the early hype; it is Bond, so that hype’s already built in.

We don’t get too much in the vid, but we do get a look at some of the locales and the other cast members, namely Jeffrey Wright (returning to the franchise as Felix Leiter) and Captain Marvel‘s Lashana Lynch as a new character named Nomi.

Also seen in the video below is director Cary Fukunaga (True Detective, Beasts of No Nation), who came on board after things fell apart with director Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire, 28 Days Later).

Production had to take a small break after Craig suffered an ankle injury. All’s getting back on track now though, as evidenced in an official pic (scroll down) released of Craig working it in the gym – with his cast still on.

The still-untitled Bond movie, which will also be starring Rami Malek as the primary villain, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Rory Kinnear, Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw and Ana de Armas, is scheduled to hit Australian and US cinemas on April 8, 2020.
