Our first look at the upcoming Bourne film has arrived in the form of a Super Bowl TV spot.
The fifth Bourne film has been titled Jason Bourne, and the first bit of footage is available for you to check out thanks to an energetic television promo released during the 2016 Super Bowl.
“I know who I am, I remember everything,” Matt Damon’s titular ass-kicker says in the spot, which does a good job of keeping the film’s plot under wraps while showing off some of the film’s action. One vehicle pile up, in particular, looks impressive.
Damon reunites with director Paul Greengrass, who has aced it with Bourne in the past, giving us both The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum.
Check out the film’s first poster underneath the video.
Jason Bourne, also starring Alicia Vikander, Julia Stiles, Tommy Lee Jones, and Vincent Cassel, is released in the U.S. on July 29.
Synopsis for Jason Bourne.
Matt Damon returns to his most iconic role in Jason Bourne. Paul Greengrass, the director of The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum, once again joins Damon for the next chapter of Universal Pictures’ Bourne franchise, which finds the CIA’s most lethal former operative drawn out of the shadows.
For Jason Bourne, Damon is joined by Alicia Vikander, Vincent Cassel and Tommy Lee Jones, while Julia Stiles reprises her role in the series. Frank Marshall again produces alongside Jeffrey Weiner for Captivate Entertainment, and Greengrass, Damon, Gregory Goodman and Ben Smith also produce. Based on characters created by Robert Ludlum, the film is written by Greengrass and Christopher Rouse.
