‘Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich’ Trailer: Netflix Docuseries Delves Into the Powerful Monster

Netflix

Upcoming Netflix documentary series Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich will be taking a bigger look at the incredibly powerful tycoon that was accused of a shocking paedophile and sex trafficking ring, had connections with very powerful individuals, and who allegedly committed suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial in his prison cell.

Executive produced by Joe Berlinger (Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes) and author Robert Pattinson, among others, the docuseries features firsthand accounts from Epstein’s accusers and survivors.

“He’s dead, but did not act alone,” says one accuser. “None of them have been held accountable.” “The monsters are still out there,” says another. “You took our freedom. Now we’re going to take yours.”

Indeed, Epstein’s case involves a much, much bigger scope; some of Hollywood’s elite and major politicians have long been mentioned as having possible connections. We’ll see what new horrors are brought to light here.

Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich, with all four parts directed by Lisa Bryant (producer of Unspeakable Crime: The Killing of Jessica Chambers), will be hitting Netflix on May 27.

Official synopsis for Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich:

Leading up to his 2019 arrest, mysterious tycoon Jeffrey Epstein was accused of abusing women and underage girls for decades, assembling a network of enablers to help carry out and cover up his crimes. Epstein came from humble beginnings yet managed to lie and manipulate his way to the top of the financial world. He eventually gained tremendous wealth and power while running an international sex trafficking ring. The serial sex abuser made a secret plea deal with the government in 2008 avoiding a potential life sentence and continued to abuse women. With their frightening firsthand accounts, Epstein’s accusers are the leading voices in director Lisa Bryant’s four-part docuseries JEFFREY EPSTEIN: FILTHY RICH. By revealing their emotional scars, some for the very first time, the sisterhood of survivors intend to stop predators — and the American justice system — from silencing the next generation. A RadicalMedia and James Patterson Entertainment production made in association with Third Eye Motion Picture Company, the series is executive produced by Joe Berlinger (Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes).
