Gotta love the Cage – you just never know what craziness he’s going to deliver next.

Check out the trailer that’s arrived for Jiu Jitsu, another new Nicolas Cage flick with the Oscar winner chewing up the screen in B-Grade-lookin’ fare. The plot of this sci-fi flick tells of an order of Jiu Jitsu fighters who, every six years, fight an alien dude who come through a portal… or something.

There is some badassery involved in the cast, which includes Tony Jaa and Frank Grillo, and if you saw and dug 2018’s Kickboxer: Retaliation then perhaps you’ll be in good hands with director and co-writer Dimitri Logothetis.

Guilty pleasure ahead? Or just cringe-inducing eye rolls? You be the judge. Jiu Jitsu, also starring Alain Moussi, Rick Yune, Marie Avgeropoulos, and Juju Chan, hits limited US cinemas, On Demand and Digital on November 20th.

Synopsis for Jiu Jitsu:

Every six years, an ancient order of expert Jiu Jitsu fighters faces a vicious race of alien invaders in a battle for Earth. For thousands of years, the fighters that protect Earth have won…until now. When celebrated war hero Jake Barnes (Alain Moussi) is defeated by Brax, the indomitable leader of the invaders, the future of humanity hangs in the balance. Injured and suffering from amnesia, Jake is rescued by Wylie (Nicolas Cage), Keung and his team of fellow Jiu Jitsu fighters. They must help Jake to regain his strength in order to band together and defeat Brax in an epic battle that will once again determine the fate of mankind.
