The official trailer for Jurassic World: Dominion has arrived, unveiling plenty of exciting footage from the highly-anticipated third Jurassic World film – and the sixth feature in the Jurassic Park franchise that kicked off with Steven Spielberg at the helm close to three decades ago.

In what’s being called “the epic conclusion to the Jurassic era”, Dominion brings in original franchise stars Sam Neill and Laura Dern, reprising their roles as Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler. And with Goldblum back as Ian Malcolm, following an appearance in Fallen Kingdom, we unite the original trio with the Jurassic World franchise stars – Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Justice Smith among them.

Character/cast uniting aside, there looks to be plenty of exciting dinosaur action on offer in chapter six – particularly now that the dinos live””and hunt””alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures.

The film is directed by Colin Trevorrow, back at the helm in the franchise after directing Jurassic World to a huge $US1.7 billion box office. Trevorrow also penned the screenplay with Emily Carmichael, co-writer of Pacific Rim: Uprising and Dominion short film predecessor Battle at Big Rock.

Also starring DeWanda Wise, Mamoudou Athie, BD Wong, Omar Sy, Isabella Sermon, Campbell Scott, Scott Haze, Dichen Lachman, and Daniella Pineda, Jurassic World: Dominion will be in Australian cinemas on June 9th and U.S. cinemas on June 10th.
