Keanu Reeves and Jim Carrey are to lead The Bad Batch, a “dystopian love story” set in a Texas wasteland – where a community of cannibals reside.
As if having Reeves and Carrey leading a film isn’t interesting enough, the film is to also star Jason Momoa, Diego Luna and Suki Waterhouse.
Ana Lily Amirpour, who has been impressing on the festival circuit with her Iranian vampire film debut A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night, is directing from her screenplay.
Reeves will play The Dream, Carrey is The Hermit, Momoa is Miami Man, Luna is Jimmy and Waterhouse is Arlen. Intriguing indeed.
