Simon Pegg is a bemused hitman hired to kill a woman in a small Australian town in Kill Me Three Times, which has its first red band trailer below.
Pegg’s Charlie Wolfe is hired to kill Alice (Alice Braga), but it turns out there are a few other people that want her dead for different reasons as well. Things get complicated fast.
Kriv Stenders (Boxing Day, Red Dog) directs what looks to be a bit of a mish-mash of genres, laying on thriller tropes and injecting some quirkiness with the addition of Pegg. It all looks workable, but we’re simply not too sure about this one.
Also starring Teresa Palmer, Luke Hemsworth, Sullivan Stapleton, and Bryan Brown.
Kill Me Three Times hits iTunes/On Demand on March 26 and will begin a limited U.S. theatrical run on April 10.
