New ‘Kingdom’ Trailer Shows Off Netflix’s South Korean Zombie Series

Netflix has released a new trailer for upcoming South Korean series Kingdom.

The new look offers up a bit more of the carnage we can expect in this Netflix Original series, which tells of a zombie outbreak that befalls an ancient kingdom. Period setting, horror, action, and freakin’ zombies. Count us in.

With originals from Germany (Dark), Australia (Tidelands), and Denmark (The Rain), Netflix is clearly expanding their worldwide production reach. Fingers crossed for Kingdom, which hits the streaming service on January 25.

In a kingdom defeated by corruption and famine, a mysterious rumor of the king’s death spreads, as does a strange plague that renders the infected immune to death and hungry for flesh. The crown prince, fallen victim to a conspiracy, sets out on a journey to unveil the evil scheme and save his people.
