First ‘Kong: Skull Island’ Trailer: Tom Hiddleston & Brie Larson Find a Big Ape

The big trailers keep on coming. You gotta love Comic-Con time.

Our first look at Kong: Skull Island is here, and it’s looking pretty impressive so far.

Starring Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson and John Goodman, Kong: Skull Island tells of a diverse team of explorers that get more than they bargained for when they visit an uncharted island in the Pacific.

There’s a strong cast leading this new take on King Kong, and although we don’t get much of the giant ape himself, there’s enough exciting footage to have us pretty damn hyped. This Kong will be going head to head with Godzilla in a future film, so fingers crossed our new Kong’s first feature is strong enough to warrant an ambitious continuation.

Kong: Skull Island, also starring John C. Reilly, Tian Jing, Corey Hawkins,Jason Mitchell, John Ortiz, Thomas Mann, Shea Whigham, Toby Kebbell, and Eugene Cordero, arrives in Australia on March 9, 2017 and hits the U.S. on March 10, 2017.
