A big new trailer for Kong: Skull Island has arrived online, showing off plenty of footage from the upcoming King Kong adventure.
Starring Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson and John Goodman, among many others, Kong: Skull Island tells of a team of explorers who head to an uncharted island in the Pacific. No prizes for guessing what goes down next.
The new trailer gives us a good look at Kong himself and offers up a surprising amount of plot info. Turns out John C. Reilly plays a guy who’s been living on the island for quite sometime, and we find out that Kong certainly isn’t the only monster living on this island.
It looks like a big, brash outing that should offer up some big-screen fun, and one that hopefully bodes well for the expanding Kong-Godzilla universe. Don’t forget, Godzilla vs. Kong is scheduled for US release on May 29, 2020.
Check out the action-packed new trailer below, and scroll further down for two new posters.
Kong: Skull Island, also starring Tian Jing, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, John Ortiz, Thomas Mann, Shea Whigham, Toby Kebbell, and Eugene Cordero, arrives in Australia on March 9 and hits the US on March 10, 2017.

Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures’ “Kong: Skull Island” reimagines the origin of the mythic Kong in a compelling, original adventure from director Jordan Vogt-Roberts (“The Kings of Summer”).
In the film, a diverse team of explorers is brought together to venture deep into an uncharted island in the Pacific – as beautiful as it is treacherous – unaware that they’re crossing into the domain of the mythic Kong.
