A new trailer has been released for Hateship Loveship, a new dramedy starring Kristen Wigg, Guy Pearce, Nick Nolte and Hailee Steinfeld. The film tells the story of Johanna Parry (Wigg), a timid woman who gets a job working as a nanny for Mr. McCauley (Nolte) and his granddaughter, Sabitha (Steinfeld). Before long, Sabitha inadvertently orchestrates a romance between her nanny and her father, a recovering addict played by Pearce. This looks harmless enough, without offering anything really new. The cast does provide some confidence in what looks like an okay, predictable drama. Hopefully we’re wrong and the film is actually much better than it appears.
