‘Locke & Key’ Series Trailer Unveils Netflix’s Exciting Comic Book Adaptation


Take a look at the trailer that’s arrived for Locke & Key, Netflix‘s upcoming series adaptation of the best-selling comic book series by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez.

The plot follows three siblings and their mother, who move into their ancestral home following the mysterious murder of their father. They discover that the house is filled with magical keys, each of which holds a unique power – and they may be connected to their dad’s demise. And then there’s a mysterious demon that awakens…

This could be another big one for the streaming giant. It’s a great trailer, showing off strong production quality and what looks like a story packed with surprises and wonder. The comics have a big following and they’re critically acclaimed, so fingers firmly crossed for this one.

Locke & Key, from Carlton Cuse (Lost, Bates Motel) & Meredith Averill (The Haunting of Hill House) and starring Darby Stanchfield, Jackson Robert Scott, Connor Jessup, Emilia Jones and Bill Heck, among others, will be hitting Netflix on February 7.

Official synopsis for Locke & Key:

After their father is murdered under mysterious circumstances, the three Locke siblings and their mother move into their ancestral home, Keyhouse, which they discover is full of magical keys that may be connected to their father’s death. As the Locke children explore the different keys and their unique powers, a mysterious demon awakens — and will stop at nothing to steal them. From Carlton Cuse (Lost, Bates Motel) and Meredith Averill (The Haunting of Hill House), the series is a coming-of-age mystery about love, loss, and the unshakable bonds that define family.
