Disney+‘s streaming takeover is on the horizon.
The first trailer has arrived for Loki, the upcoming Marvel Studios series that brings back Tom Hiddleston as the God of Mischief. Remember Avengers: Endgame, when Loki grabbed the Tesseract and escaped in 2012? Well, this series explains what happened to him after. And true to the Asgardian’s Mischief God title, it appears that we’ll see him messing around with humanity’s history. Vote for Loki? Questions galore come from the trailer, which also, by the way, has Owen Wilson and Gugu Mbatha-Raw.
Kevin Feige exec produces the highly-anticipated series, which has 6 episodes directed by Kate Herron (whose credits include episodes of Netflix’s Sex Education), with writing from Rick and Morty producer (and writer of Rick and Morty ep “The Old Man and the Seat”) Michael Waldron.
Can’t wait! Loki will premier on Disney+ in May 2021.
