‘Loki’ Trailer: Tom Hiddleston Must Fix His ‘Endgame’ Break in Disney Plus Marvel Series

A big new trailer has arrived for Loki, the third Marvel Studios series heading to Disney+ following WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

The plot of the exciting upcoming series is made much clearer in the trailer below, as we find Loki (Tom Hiddleston, back in his beloved role) arrested by the Time Variance Authority (TVA) – who monitor the timeline and multiverse – and is tasked to undo what he caused in Avengers: Endgame. When he picked up the Tesseract and vanished, you see, he broke reality.

The cast includes Owen Wilson (as TVA member Mobius M. Mobius), Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku, Richard E. Grant, Sasha Lane, and Erika Coleman.

The series was created by Michael Waldron, who wrote Rick and Morty episode ‘The Old Man and the Seat’ and – appropriately – is co-writing Sam Raimi-directed sequel Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. All episodes are directed by Kate Herron, whose previous television credits include Netflix shows Sex Education and Daybreak.

On a visual level, the series looks stunning. Narratively, the trailer suggests a heady dose of sci-fi and time-line craziness that you just know will affect the overall MCU. Cannot wait to get this thing in our eyes.

Loki will be premiering on Disney+ this June 11th.
