It’s a relatively short clip, coming in at under one minute, but it’s nevertheless an entertaining moment that reinforces Cage’s indestructible nature and the clothing hazards one such hero would experience.
Luke Cage will mark the third hero outing from the Netflix-Marvel team-up. Iron Fist will come next, followed by the culmination with all four street-level heroes, The Defenders. The studios have aced it with both seasons of Daredevil, and even if Jessica Jones wasn’t quite up to scratch, at least in this writer’s opinion, it was still a decent expansion of the universe.
Cage’s first solo season, starring Mike Colter in the lead role, will be hitting Netflix on September 30.
