Fans of the Resident Evil film franchise are in luck. Yes, the sixth film in the series is officially on its way.

Franchise lead Milla Jovovich took to Facebook recently and, in a post describing her health status as she nears the birth of her second child, announced that Resident Evil: The Final Chapter would be entering production in a few months.

I’m really proud of myself for not gaining the same amount of weight that I did with our first child (75 lbs.) because I have to be ready to start filming Resident Evil- The Final Chapter in August of this year and I will also be nursing an infant simultaneously.”

The sequel will see Paul W.S. Anderson, Milla’s real-life husband, back on writing and directing duties.

According to the film’s IMDB page, the sixth film will see Alice, Jill, Claire, Chris, Leon, Ada, and Wesker rush to The Hive, where The Red Queen plots total destruction over the human race. Wentworth Miller and Bingbing Li have apparently been locked in as well.

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is currently set to be released in the United States on 2 September, 2016.
