20th Century Fox has dropped a new trailer for Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, offering up more footage from Tim Burton’s latest feature.
Based upon the best-selling novel written by Ransom Riggs, the film tells the story of a secret refuge for peculiar children and Jake (Asa Butterfield), the boy who discovers it.
This is just the right type of material for Burton to tackle. The visuals looks sumptuous, and although I haven’t read the novel, the narrative appears to offer up plenty of wonder. Plus, there’s strong cast, led by the ever-reliable Eva Green no less.
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, also starring Ella Purnell, Allison Janney, Terence Stamp, Rupert Everett, with Judi Dench and Samuel L. Jackson, arrives in Australia on September 29 and hits the U.S. on September 30.
