‘MobLand’ Series Trailer Has Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, and Helen Mirren in a London Crime War

A big series here! The official trailer has dropped for MobLand, an upcoming Paramount+ crime drama that throws viewers deep into the heart of London’s criminal underbelly. With Guy Ritchie on board as executive producer and director of two episodes (according to IMDb), and with a heavyweight cast led by Pierce Brosnan, Helen Mirren, and Tom Hardy, this could be one to look out for. Watch the trailer above and learn more below.

Set against the backdrop of two feuding crime families, MobLand follows the ruthless Harrigans and their long-standing rivals, the Stevensons, as they fight to maintain dominance in a city where power is a blood-soaked currency. Brosnan plays Conrad Harrigan, the smooth but deadly patriarch of his family’s empire, while Mirren’s Maeve is the true mastermind pulling the strings—making her, as the trailer teases, “the most dangerous of all.” Caught in the chaos is Hardy’s Harry Da Souza, a street-savvy fixer. His job is to clean up messes, but he finds himself entangled in deadly conflicts where loyalty is as valuable as a loaded gun.

The trailer wastes no time showcasing the show’s intense stakes, featuring Hardy in full brooding mode, guns drawn and fists clenched, while Brosnan delivers ominous lines about power being a “hungry thing” that invites betrayal at every turn. Shifting allegiances, brutal confrontations, an old-school gangster war playing out in the modern age. Sign us up!

Alongside the leading trio, MobLand‘s impressive ensemble includes Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Emily Barber, Mandeep Dhillon, Anson Boon, Jasmine Jobson, Geoff Bell, Daniel Betts, and Lisa Dwan. MobLand is produced in association with MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios and is executive produced by Keith Cox, Nina L. Diaz, David C. Glasser, Guy Ritchie, Jez Butterworth, Ronan Bennett, Kris Thykier, Ivan Atkinson, Tom Hardy, Dean Baker, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin and Bob Yari.

Interestingly, MobLand wasn’t always intended to be an original series. The project was initially at Showtime and was being developed as The Donovans, a London-set spinoff of series Ray Donovan. However, as the show evolved, it shed those ties and embraced its own identity. It was announced in February that the title had changed and it was moving to Paramount+.

We don’t have long until this one hits our screens. Paramount+ has locked in MobLand for a global premiere on March 30th.
