A big new trailer has arrived for How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, giving us more of the final chapter in the trilogy that kicked off in 2010.
Might be best to take the tissues with you to the movies when seeing this one; it’s probably going to be one emotional ride. The third film finds Hiccup and Toothless having to leave the dragon utopia they helped create in order to stop a new villain who has dire plans for all of dragon kind. We also meet Light Fury – yep, Hiccup isn’t the only one of his kind.
The first two films were wonderful adventures, with gorgeous animation and plenty of heart. With franchise director and writer Dean DeBlois still at the helm, expect this stand-out CG-animated franchise to receive a fitting close. We can’t wait.
How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, featuring a voice cast that includes Jay Baruchel, Cate Blanchett, Jonah Hill, Kit Harington, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and Kristen Wiig, among others, will be arriving in Australia cinemas on 3 January 2019 and opening in US cinemas on 22 February 2019.
