A new international trailer has dropped for Ghostbusters, giving us a few new snippets of the upcoming reboot.
Paul Feig’s female-led redo hasn’t exactly had a warm reception since word broke of its inception, and the ill-received trailers haven’t done the film any favours either.
While this new trailer does not undo the negative marketing pieces preceding it, it does offer up an energetic and even fun look at the film, keeping the humour down to quick quips and placing a focus on the supernatural elements. To put it simply, we’d probably be much more on board if this is the only trailer we had seen.
We’ve said it before – we’ll say it again: You never know. We’re keeping our hopes up for an entertaining supernatural action-comedy here.
Ghostbusters, starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Chris Hemsworth, will open in Australia on July 14 and the U.S. on July 15.
