Cameras have officially started rolling on the next Predator movie.
Director and co-writer Shane Black, known for Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Iron Man 3 and The Nice Guys, has taken to Twitter to mark the start of shooting on The Predator, revealing the first official image of the film’s “partial cast”.
Narcos and Logan actor Boyd Holbrook will be leading the film’s ensemble, playing a Special Forces Commando. He’ll be joined by Olivia Munn, who’ll be playing a scientist of some sort, Trevante Rhodes, Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown, and Room star Jacob Tremblay. Late January saw Thomas Jane enter negotiations to take on a role in the film. Expect an image of him in character soon.
“Partial cast… beautiful human beings, good people. Also, killers,” Black posted. “Cameras roll today. Follow me on Twitter for updates. Wish us luck.”
And those worried at all that the film may come to life with a PG-13 rating (US classification), fear not – an R rating is on the way.
And, just to be clear… PG-13 is for pussies. Spines bleed… a lot.
