Check out the official trailer for One Chance, an upcoming movie that tells the true story of Paul Potts, the winner of the first series of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent. At first glance, this appears to just be a smart cross-marketing tool to promote the artist’s music and of course the TV series itself – which may very well be the case, but we’re not ruling out the possibility of a feel-good film either. Director David Frankel proved himself with The Devil Wears Prada (even if he has never been able to top that film) and screenwriter Justin Zackham gathered himself an okay reputation with The Fastest Man in the World and The Bucket List.
Then again, the film is produced by Simon Cowell.
