‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ Poster: DiCaprio & Pitt in Tarantino’s 9th Film

Sony Pictures

Check out the first poster to be released for Quentin Tarantino’s 9th film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

We head back to 1969 Hollywood in Tarantino’s latest film, which boasts a star-studded cast led by Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie. The film will feature interweaving plot strands à la Pulp Fiction, but the primary narrative will be following a TV star (DiCaprio) and his longtime stunt double (Pitt) as they try navigate a Hollywood in its final moments of the Golden Age. Robbie plays actress Sharon Tate, who was murdered while pregnant in her home by followers of Charles Manson.

The poster below is… okay. It’s mostly just to showcase the fact that the film stars DiCaprio and Pitt, but the unmistakable whiff of questionable photoshopping and an overall bland layout makes it a little underwhelming. Still, who really cares? It’s the first poster. For a Tarantino movie. Starring DiCaprio and Pitt. Our money is ready for the taking.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, which also stars (ready?) Al Pacino, Timothy Olyphant, Scoot McNairy, Damian Lewis, Luke Perry, Dakota Fanning, James Marsden, Clifton Collins, Keith Jefferson, Emile Hirsch, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, and Lena Dunham, among others, will be hitting US cinemas on July 26 and Australian cinemas on August 15.
