The first trailer has arrived for Quentin Tarantino’s ninth film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Described as a tribute to the final moments of Hollywood’s golden age, the film follows TV star Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio) and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth (Brad Pitt) in ’69 Los Angeles. Tarantino’s going the Pulp Fiction-style route here, with a narrative that revolves around multiple plot lines and a massive cast. Aussie star Margot Robbie plays actress Sharon Tate.
Yep, this looks like a very fun time. The plot is still being kept under wraps, which is just fine with us since the snippets shown off in the trailer are oh-so enticing. Check out Pitt fighting Bruce Lee, who’s played by uncanny-looking Mike Moh. We. Can’t. Wait.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, also starring Al Pacino, Timothy Olyphant, Scoot McNairy, Damian Lewis, Luke Perry, Dakota Fanning, James Marsden, Clifton Collins, Keith Jefferson, Emile Hirsch, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, and Lena Dunham, among others, will be hitting US cinemas on July 26 and Australian cinemas on August 15.
