The first promos have arrived for what will likely be quite the ratings juggernaut for CBS: Oprah Winfrey’s interview with The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
As the videos below tease, Oprah with Meghan and Harry: A CBS Primetime Special could be featuring a number of bombshells, with Winfrey saying “there is no subject that’s off limits.” The snippets show Winfrey looking pretty surprised at some of what she’s told. “You’ve said some pretty shocking things here,” Winfrey says at one point. “Were you silent? Or were you silenced?” she asks Meghan.
In the second promo below, Harry says that his “biggest concern was history repeating itself,” referencing his late mother, Princess Diana.
“I can’t begin to imagine what it must have been for her going through this process by herself all these years ago,” Harry says. “Because it’s been unbelievably tough for the two of us, but at least we have each other.”
As per CBS, the interview will first be with Meghan, “covering everything from stepping into life as a Royal, marriage, motherhood, philanthropic work to how she is handling life under intense public pressure. Later, the two are joined by Prince Harry as they speak about their move to the United States and their future hopes and dreams for their expanding family.”
The in-depth, two-hour interview with Meghan and Harry will be airing on CBS in the US at 8pm, Sunday, March 7th (ET/PT).
