Movie project transforms Holloman

Paramount Pictures has picked up a pitch for an adventure-thriller to be produced by Michael Bay. THR is reporting that Bay is attached to produce the project, which is also a potential directing vehicle for the filmmaker. Bay is to produce with his Platinum Dunes partners, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form.

There hasn’t been much information released for the yet-untitled adventure film, except that “the movie is described as a real science adventure thriller with an undersea component.”

The screenplay comes from Tom Wheeler, who penned Puss in Boots, and Robbie Thomas, best known for his writing work on TV’s Supernatural.

That about sums up all that is known about this mysterious adventure-thriller. It seems that Bay is piling up projects everywhere, with Transformers: Age of Extinction prepping for release and a slew of films, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Welcome to Yesterday and a remake of Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds, that have Bay as producer. If he directs this new film, get ready for some underwater explosions.
