It’s been a tough year for Pixar fans. 2014 was the first year in the past 8 years that we didn’t get a film from the acclaimed animation studio, but that delay on their prehistoric story means that 2015 will see not one, but two Pixar films released.
As you may have heard by now, The Good Dinosaur was supposed to be released in May 30 this year. But after Up co-director Bob Peterson was removed from the project by Pixar, the studio proceeded to reimagine much of the film. Peter Sohn, The Good Dinosaur‘s co-director, was initially thought to be next in line to take the reins, but hope faded when Pixar took their time in announcing who would be sitting in the director’s chair.
Well, The Good Dinosaur finally looks set to be on track, with Pixar confirming that Peter Sohn will indeed be directing the film. Sohn’s previous Pixar outing as director was the fantastic short Partly Cloudy, which preceded Up in some cinemas.

The Good Dinosaur is set to hit U.S. cinemas on November 25, 2015.
