Preacher, which could very well be one of the most messed up shows on television, is on the way.
Based on the much-applauded graphic novel by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, Preacher tells the story of a West Texas preacher with an unusual power who, alongside his ex-girlfriend and an Irish vagabond, is thrust into a world populated by characters from Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between.
One of those characters is that of Arseface, to be played by Ian Colletti. How did the unfortunately-yet-appropriately named Arseface get his name? Well, having grown up in an abusive household and holding Kurt Cobain as a hero, he placed a shotgun under his chin and pulled the trigger. He didn’t die. Yep, there’s an idea of what to expect going in.
AMC has dropped the first image of Colletti in character, and you can check it out below.
Preacher, brought to life by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and Michael Slovis, and starring Dominic Cooper in the title role, will begin on AMC on May 22 (U.S. date).
