Relive Your Youth With The Spectacular Now Trailer

Have a look at the great little trailer for The Spectacular Now. Directed by James Ponsoldt, who made the under-seen Smashed, this bittersweet look at a high-school romance has been gathering quite a bit of buzz throughout the festival circuit. It’s no real surprise that this film is written by Michael H. Weber and Scott Neustadter, writers of 500 Days of Summer.

The Spectacular Now is based on a novel my Tim Tharp.

Check out the trailer, the poster and the official synopsis below.

This adaptation of Tim Tharp’s novel The Spectacular Now captures the insecurity and confusion of adolescence without looking for tidy truths. Weber, directed by James Ponsoldt (SMASHED) and produced by Tom McNulty, Shawn Levy, Andrew Lauren and Michelle Krumm.
