‘Rick and Morty’ Season 4 Trailer & Release Date Unveiled

Adult Swim

Rick and Morty is finally, finally, finally, almost back.

A new trailer has arrived, offering up a lot of new footage from the long-awaited fourth season. By the time the first ep of s4 airs, it will have been over two years since the s3 finale. The new chapter begins on Adult Swim on November 10, folks. That’s right, not long, but it’s not all good news.

“Half the season you deserve,” says the trailer voiceover, “All the season we could handle.” Yep, only half the season – 5 episodes – will be arriving this year, with no official release date announced for the second half. Still, we gotta be grateful that Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland have not only tackled a fourth season, but that they will be delivering 70 (!) new episodes over the next few years in a deal Adult Swim made with the creators last year.

As for the season 4 trailer – it looks damn good. As you’d expect, Morty is in for much more extreme insanity thanks to his nutty grandad, and prepare to reunite with a number of characters (Mr. Poopybutthole and Meeseeks among them) as the pair head on new adventures.
