Check out the new trailer to arrive for Robin Hood, the latest film to bring the legendary outlaw to the big screen.
Kingsman star Taron Egerton plays Hood this time around and Jamie Foxx is on board as Little John, who, as we see in the new trailer below, trains young Robin to hone his skills. Egerton and this whole training/mentor thing is looking mighty similar to the aforementioned Kingsman, so hopefully we’re in for a popcorn flick that’s somewhere near as fun as that one was. It looks like an easy-to-digest type of adventure, with an amiable cast – including Aussie actor Ben Mendelsohn, whose bad guy persona is quickly becoming very familiar – and some energetic action. Let’s hope it’s fun.
Directed by British helmer Otto Bathurst, making his first big-screen feature after a career in television (Black Mirror, Peaky Blinders). The screenplay comes from David James Kelly and Ben Chandler.
Robin Hood, also starring Jamie Dornan, Eve Hewson and Tim Minchin, will open in US cinemas on November 21 and arrives in Australia on November 22.
