Take a look at the official trailer A24 has released for upcoming horror film Saint Maud.
The film follows Maud (Morfydd Clark, His Dark Materials), a hospice nurse whose mission to save the souls of her patients before they depart begins to consumer her. Unfortunately for her, and those around her, the forces at work may not exactly be holy.
Saint Maud has been met with promising early reviews, suggesting a film that works well as a eerie and tense character study with elements of more traditional horror. It looks like a strong calling card for first-time feature writer-director Rose Glass, whose prior credits have been in the short film realm.
Also starring Jennifer Ehle and Lily Frazer, Saint Maud will be opening in the UK on May 1, 2020 and will open in US cinemas in the Spring.
