A big new trailer has been released for San Andreas, the upcoming Dwayne Johnson-starring disaster pic.
When the San Andreas Fault decides to give, Johnson’s search and rescue helicopter pilot teams up with his estranged wife (Carla Gugino) to find their daughter. They make their way from L.A. to San Francisco as more earthquakes cause ridiculous levels of mayhem.
The visual effects look impressive, Johnson’s doing his thing, and Paul Giamatti adds texture. That final wave sequence looks like a doozy too. We’re in.
Archie Panjabi, Ioan Gruffudd, Will Yun Lee, Colton Haynes, and Kylie Minogue also star.
San Andreas hits Australia on May 28 and the U.S. on May 29.

After the infamous San Andreas Fault finally gives, triggering a magnitude 9 earthquake in California, a search and rescue helicopter pilot (Dwayne Johnson) and his estranged wife make their way together from Los Angeles to San Francisco to save their only daughter.
