A tense new clip has dropped from The Shallows, the upcoming thriller that sees Blake Lively attempting to survive a shark that has it out for her.
Lively plays Nancy, a girl who find herself stranded 200 yards from the shore. The only thing between her and safety: a great white shark. Good luck.
Director Jaume Collet-Serra showed off slick direction in Orphan and Liam Neeson vehicles Unknown, Non-Stop and Run All Night, so we’ve got our fingers crossed for a well-produced, suspenseful little survival pic here. At least from the clip below, we at least know that we’re in for a convincing first attack.
The Shallows will open in the U.S. on June 29 and arrives in Australia on August 18.
