Netflix’s ‘Sirens’ Trailer Has Julianne Moore, Milly Alcock, Kevin Bacon & More Entangled in Secrets

The official trailer for Sirens has arrived, giving us a first look at Netflix‘s darkly glamorous limited series starring Oscar-winner Julianne Moore, Milly Alcock, Meghann Fahy, Kevin Bacon, and Glenn Howerton. With class satire, plenty of secrets, and dry, dark comedy, it looks like the kind of show that’s proven to be hit on Netflix. Watch the trailer above and read on for more.

Set against the backdrop of a luxurious seaside estate called Cliff House, Sirens follows blue-collar Devon DeWitt (Fahy, seen recently in Drop) as she arrives on a posh island community, suspicious of the relationship between her younger sister Simone (Aussie star Alcock, the upcoming Supergirl, also known for House of the Dragon) and their mysterious, wealthy employer Michaela Kell (Moore). While Simone insists she’s “the happiest she’s ever been,” Devon sees the cracks beneath the glossy façade — and fears Simone may be caught in something much darker.

“Michaela and Simone are friends. They’re trauma-bonded. They’re codependent,” creator and executive producer Molly Smith Metzler, who was behind Netflix’s acclaimed 2010 limited-series Maid, told Netflix site Tudum. “But they also really need something from each other. And what they need from each other shifts throughout the show.”

The trailer teases rising tensions as Devon digs deeper into Cliff House’s opulent but unsettling world. Bacon appears as Peter Kell, Michaela’s billionaire husband, while Howerton plays Ethan Corbin III, a wealthy neighbour with alliances of his own. Throughout it all, hints of buried secrets, power plays, and family trauma bubble to the surface.

As Fahy explains: “Sirens is really a show about relationships and the way people desperately try to outrun their past.” The trailer hints that Devon and Simone’s fractured bond — and the hidden pain in their shared history — will be just as volatile as any conspiracy among the elite.

Sirens consists of five episodes and premieres May 22 on Netflix.
