After the announcement at this year’s Comic Con of Legendary Pictures’ plans for Skull Island, fans were left hyped, wanting more than a teaser trailer and release date. Luckily, some more exciting info has been revealed in a press release. While early reports said that Joe Cornish (Attack the Block) was likely to direct, we now have official word that Jordan Vogt-Roberts (The Kings of Summer) will be at the helm of Skull Island.
We also have confirmation that Tom Hiddleston, best known for his charismatic villain Loki in Marvel’s Thor and The Avengers, will be starring in the film. Max Borenstein, writer of the recent blockbuster Godzilla, will pen the screenplay, which will see the film take place almost entirely on the island.
Skull Island will hit cinemas on the 4th of November, 2016. We’re looking forward to this one…
