“You need an incredibly fast ship… and a brilliant pilot,” says Dryden Vos (Paul Bettany). “We’ve got a pilot,” replies Han Solo (Alden Ehrenreich).

Check out a new TV spot to arrive for Solo: A Star Wars Story, the highly anticipated prequel spinoff giving us a younger Solo, Chewie and Lando (Donald Glover). The new promo comes with a few new snippets of footage, teasing more of the origins angle the film will be offering fans. Wanted to know how Solo and Chewie became buddies in the first place? Look no further.

And by the way: it’s looking like we’ll getting more Solo films in the future. Ehrenreich told Esquire in April that he had signed up for three films and director Ron Howard has recently confirmed to Fandango that we could be catching up with Han again after Solo, although the likelihood depends on how well this film does.

“They’re single movies exploring the galaxy; but of course, as a company, I think [Disney is] going to be very interested to see how people respond to it and take it from there,” Howard said. “This whole thing is kind of a cool, ambitious exploration of what the galaxy and the Star Wars sensibility can continue to mean to fans.”

Well, if that’s the case, then the huge pre-sale numbers Solo is bringing in now means it’s very likely Solo 2 is on the horizon. But one thing at a time…

Solo: A Star Wars Story arrives in Australia on May 24 and opens in the U.S. on May 25.

Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo befriends his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and meets the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.
