‘Squid Game’ Season 2 Shatters Netflix Records with Massive Viewership Numbers

Netflix

Squid Game is back and, unsurprisingly, crushing it again. The second season of the record-breaking series has smashed Netflix viewership numbers.

In less than two weeks—11 days, to be exact—it’s already racked up an insane 126.2 million views. And if that wasn’t enough, it’s now sitting pretty as the second-most-popular non-English-language series in Netflix history. The only show ahead? Squid Game‘s very own first season.

The sequel season pulled in 58.2 million views just last week. It’s dominating Netflix’s non-English TV rankings, taking the No. 1 spot in 91 countries while staying in the Top 10 in 93. Meanwhile, the original season is still holding strong, adding 13.6 million more views to its impressive legacy. Clearly, people can’t get enough of this twisted, high-stakes drama.

The second season is also shaking up Netflix’s all-time rankings. With 904.7 million hours watched, it’s now locked in second place. The first season remains untouchable—for now—with a jaw-dropping 2.2 billion hours and 265.2 million views.

The third and final season is set to hit Netflix later this year.
