‘Star Trek Beyond’: Check Out All the New Posters!

Paramount Pictures has been drip-feeding new Star Trek Beyond characters posters over the last week, including two new ones today for Kirk and new villain Krall, and we’ve got them all right here for you to check out.

Director Justin Lin took the Fast and Furious franchise to great new heights with Fast Five and Fast & Furious 6, so we’ve got our fingers firmly crossed that he delivers a strong entry in this franchise as well.  Worries began to creep up with the poorly structured first trailer, but that second trailer was quite good, making amends and giving us a longer, more Star Trek-ish look at what could very well be a strong chapter in the series. Hopefully.

We’ll be catching up with the crew of the Enterprise as they crash down on a new planet, leaving the team scattered and putting Kirk (Chris Pine) on a collision course with Idris Elba’s Krall.

Check out the new character posters below, which include Pine’s Kirk, Simon Pegg’s Scotty, Zachary Quinto’s Spock, Zoe Saldana’s Uhura, Anton Yelchin’s Chekov, John Cho’s Sulu and Elba’s Krall. Apparently Kirk and Sulu are the only characters worthy of looking at the camera.

Star Trek Beyond hits Aussie screens on July 21 and U.S. screens on July 22.
