Danny Boyle directing Michael Fassbender with a screenplay by Aaron Sorkin? Yep, this one’s high on our must-see list.
The first full trailer has been released for Steve Jobs, and it’s fantastic.
Fassbender plays the Apple pioneer in the biopic set backstage at three iconic Apple product launches. The film looks to give us a layered view of the man and the events at the centre of some of Apple’s biggest moments.
We’re trying our best to keep our expectations in check, but there’s simply too much talent here. With a great director, screenwriter and cast, this could be downright incredible. Fingers crossed.
Steve Jobs, also starring Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen, Jeff Daniels, Katherine Waterston and Michael Stuhlbarg, hits Australia on October 8 and the U.S. on October 9.
Here’s the logline for Steve Jobs:
Set backstage at three iconic product launches and ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac, Steve Jobs takes us behind the scenes of the digital revolution to paint an intimate portrait of the brilliant man at its epicenter.
