The first trailer has dropped for Still Alice, an upcoming drama starring Julianne Moore, Alec Baldwin, Kristen Stewart and Kate Bosworth.
Moore plays Alice Howland, 50-year-old Columbia professor who is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s Disease.
Early reviews are highly positive, with many commenting on Julianne Moore’s emotive, underplayed and honest performance. The Still Alice trailer and clips below provide confidence in what looks like a tender and sad look at a devastating disease.
Will this earn Moore that elusive Oscar? The talented actress has been nominated for an Academy Award a total of four times, with two nominations (Far from Heaven, The Hours) in 2013 alone.
